Vision, mission and values
Vision (what we want to see in the world):
A world where all disabled and neurodivergent people thrive.
We imagine a world where inclusion is the norm, barriers are dismantled, and the voices, talents and contributions of disabled and neurodivergent people are recognised and celebrated in every aspect of society — including STEM.
Mission (our reason for existing):
To provide accessible and inclusive STEM opportunities for disabled and neurodivergent children and young people, empowering them to discover, explore, learn, lead, and benefit from STEM. We will celebrate their achievements, foster collaboration, influence the STEM sector, and inform policy.
Values (our core principles and ethics):
1. Authenticity – Celebrating our diverse communities and their unique perspectives.
2. Integrity – Acting ethically, honestly and transparently.
3. Curiosity – Embracing exploration and innovation.
4. Respect – Valuing all individuals and communities.
5. Collaboration – Building partnerships for greater impact.
6. Empowerment – Supporting individuals to lead with strength, confidence and agency — with a focus on being led by and for disabled and neurodivergent people.
