During our Summer Campaign you pledged a whopping £3500 and we couldn’t be more grateful. This Christmas could be your chance to help us double that!
The second part of our campaign, the Big Give’s Challenge, will run from 2–9 December and that will be YOUR time to get involved.
The Big Give Challenge is the UK's biggest collaborative fundraising campaign, championing a wide range of charities including Lightyear Foundation
Each year, for one week only, your online donation has the power to be doubled at no extra cost to you.
During the campaign, donations make double the difference to the lives' we change, thanks to the support of match funders.
Your Donations:
£100 grows into £200 Help fund , hands on Lightning Lab, where students explore STEM through accessible, interactive experiments.
£500 grows into £1000 Bring the magic of our immersive dome experience to life, transporting young minds into space, under the sea, or through the human body, all tailored for accessibility.
£1000 grows into £2000. Fund a transformative Work Inspiration trip where disabled and neurodivergent young people meet real scientists, visit labs, and see their potential future in STEM.

Why it matters
At Lightyear Foundation, we believe STEM is for everyone. But right now, disabled and neurodivergent children and young people are significantly underrepresented in STEM education and careers.
That’s why we create inclusive, sensory-friendly STEM programmes that ignite curiosity, build confidence, and foster a sense of belonging. From Lightning Labs to school outreach, immersive domes to work experience trips - we’re breaking down the barriers that prevent participation.
