ABOUT THIS PLAN
Our 2025–2030 Strategic Plan sets out a bold and practical roadmap for achieving our vision: a world where all disabled and neurodivergent people thrive.
To shape this plan, we engaged widely with the people and communities at the heart of our mission. Through sector mapping, research, stakeholder interviews, and focus groups, we explored the barriers disabled and neurodivergent young people face in accessing STEM — and the powerful opportunities for change.
We heard from young people, educators, families, funders, researchers, and partners across the UK. Their insights helped us clarify our purpose, deepen our understanding of inclusion, and define five clear goals for the future. This was underpinned by extensive research and sector mapping, including analysis of over 250 STEM organisations, to identify where support for disabled and neurodivergent young people is most needed — and most often missing.
This plan is rooted in lived experience and reflects our values as a proudly disabled-led organisation. It reaffirms our commitment to breaking down barriers, amplifying underrepresented voices, and ensuring that disabled and neurodivergent young people can explore, enjoy and excel in STEM — now and into the future.
