Volunteer Callout

We are looking for more wonderful volunteers to join our next round of Virtual Labs! If you are passionate about making STEM inclusive, and would like to help disabled young people enjoy Sensory Science experiments on Zoom, please get in touch with Rhiannon on rhiannon@lightyearfoundation.org

Led by the brilliant Dr. Sarah Bearchell, this role is particularly ideal for Sci Comm students. By donating some time via Zoom, you will learn methods which work for inclusive science in Special Needs Schools as well as:

- Develop skills in inclusive STEM delivery, communication skills and Makaton signing

- Receive personal training and support throughout

- Enjoy facilitating young people in discovering the joy of science!
