Former COO in the School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering at City, University of London, Peter is proudly taking part in a new charitable challenge to complete one million steps to support us.

Having started his quest on 28th December 2020, Peter is aiming to complete a ‘one step at a time…’ challenge by travelling one million steps, walking and running, to be completed ahead of his 69th birthday on 18th February 2021.

We were thrilled when Peter got in touch, telling us our work is close to his heart. The support he offered in his challenge will prove particularly useful at a time when so many children are regularly missing time at school.

“I passionately believe that STEM careers and the skills this sector offers can help transform the lives of disabled children,” says Peter. “This is why I’m so very proud to support the Lightyear Foundation and hope to raise as much money as possible to support our wonderful cause”.
