October's SEN in STEM Roundtable

We were thrilled with a great turnout at our latest SEN in STEM Roundtable (held on Zoom) welcoming lots of new faces and organisations to the group. Lightyear’s STEM Lead, Dr. Sarah Bearchell hosted the session and shared the successes and learnings from our recent Virtual Lab. We also heard from Ronel Verwoerd from the Natural History Museum and Clair Griffiths from Xplore! Science Discovery Centre, who both shared what they have been up to during lockdown and how they are making their centres more inclusive.

Thanks to all who joined us and contributed to such a helpful and energetic conversation! Lots of tips and contacts were shared and it proved again to be a wonderful breeding ground for collaboration.
